Client:

Key Services:
CEL were commissioned to carry out a bat and barn owl survey within a neglected grade II listed hunting lodge that was due for restoration as a private residence. The lodge was in need of significant renovation work, including rebuilding much of the roof and internal structure. Although accessibility was limited due to the fragile nature of the building, CEL’s licensed ecologists found evidence of barn owl usage with further emergence survey work required for the presence of bats. CEL were able to make recommendations for the mitigation of the barn owls without compromising the sensitivity of the buildings listed status.
