Warm welcome for our newest Ecologist Beth

Contract Ecology Ltd are delighted to have appointed Beth Mell to the position of Junior Ecologist as part of the team, having recently graduated with a MSc in Conservation Management from Edge Hill University.

Beth joins our experienced team to further develop our growing portfolio of ecological surveys and habitat management commissions with her previous experience in small mammal monitoring, invertebrate surveying, Phase 1 Habitat survey, NVC survey and the production of habitat management plans.

Beth is also no stranger to practical conservation tasks having worked with the National Trust in Arnside and Silverdale undertaking active woodland management, scrub control and deer exclusion fence installation.

On joining the team Beth said she wanted to work with Contract Ecology due to the large scope of work the company carries out and the high standard at which services are delivered. “I’m enjoying the new job and the brilliant opportunity it is to further my experience”.
